Privacy & Cookies

A plain-English explanation of how your information is used on this site.

Who this covers

This site, jamiegibson.co.uk, is run by Jamie Gibson Masonry Services, based in Birmingham and covering the West Midlands. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email jamie@jamiegibson.co.uk.

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry through the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, and the details of your message (and, where offered, the service you're asking about). This is used solely to reply to your enquiry and, where you go on to book work, to provide our masonry services. We don't sell or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.

If you contact us by WhatsApp, email, or phone instead, the same principle applies: your details are used only to respond to you and, if applicable, carry out the work you've asked about.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site — for example, which pages are popular and which areas people are searching from. This helps us keep the site useful and well optimised.

Google Analytics is not switched on until you accept cookies using the banner shown when you first visit. If you reject or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is recorded against you individually. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page.

We may in future run social media advertising campaigns (for example, on Meta/Facebook and Instagram). If we do, this policy will be updated to explain any additional cookies or tracking pixels used, and — as with analytics — nothing will be switched on without your consent via the cookie banner.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry details are kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, where you become a customer, for our standard business and accounting records. Cookie consent choices are remembered on your device for up to 12 months, after which you'll be asked again.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask to see what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, email jamie@jamiegibson.co.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using additional tracking tools. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
